Privacy and cookies policy
No sign-up needed
Short links, disposable addresses, QR codes and the WiFi page work without any account. An account is only needed for the virtual business card.
Creating a link
We store the destination URL, the short code, the creation date and an irreversible, salted fingerprint of your IP address (anti-abuse, 24 hours). The raw IP address is never stored.
Clicks
Each click increments an anonymous counter and updates the last-click date. No cookie, no browser fingerprint, no individual tracking.
Disposable email addresses
We store the temporary address, your destination address, the chosen duration, creation and expiry dates, a secret management link and an IP fingerprint; these are deleted 90 days after expiry. Forwarded messages are not kept (neither content nor attachments); a 30-day technical log (date, addresses, subject, size, status) is kept. Messages transit through our mail providers (Cloudflare for reception, Brevo or OVH for sending). Every incoming message is filtered automatically for spam (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, public domain blocklists, dangerous attachments, content heuristics, rate limits) without any human reading.
WiFi (QR code and NFC card)
Your WiFi network name and password are processed only in your browser; the QR drawing request is neither logged nor stored. 845.fr keeps no WiFi information.
Member accounts and business cards
Creating an account involves: your email address, a password (stored hashed) or the technical identifier supplied by Google or Apple, creation and last sign-in dates, and an IP fingerprint (24 hours). Your profile (name, job title, company, contact details, social links, photo, logo, bio) is entered voluntarily by you and intended to be public: it is shown to anyone who opens your card (link, QR code or NFC card) and included in the downloadable vCard. An anonymous view counter is kept. You may edit your profile, unpublish your card, export your data (vCard, JSON) and delete your account at any time; deletion is immediate and final. Accounts never confirmed are deleted after 30 days; accounts with no sign-in for 3 years are deleted.
Shop
An order request stores your identity, contact details, delivery address and the content of the request, used to answer and fulfil it, then kept for legal retention periods (accounting: 10 years). The cart is stored only in your browser (local storage), never on our servers.
Cookies
The public 845.fr site uses no cookies and no trackers. Only the member area (after sign-in) and the admin interface set a strictly necessary session cookie, exempt from consent. Google or Apple sign-in is subject to those companies' privacy policies.
Hosting logs
Our host (OVH, France) keeps standard server logs (IP address, date, requested URL, browser) for security purposes for the legal retention period.
Legal basis and retention
Legitimate interest (operating and securing the service), performance of the contract (accounts, orders) and legal obligations (accounting). Retention periods are stated above.
Your rights
You may access, rectify, erase and port your data, and object to or restrict processing, by writing to bonjour@845.fr. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
